Hybrid lavender

A hybrid lavender plant that is a cross between true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and spike lavender (Lavandula latifolia). Lavandin grosso belongs to the Lamiaceae family, i.e. the mint family which contains many aromatic plants, herbs, and shrubs, and it is well-known for species that often have aromatic oils.
